Cooperation With Academic And Research Institutions Is The Topic Of 9 Videos Supported By EU4Business

Within the framework of the EU4Business program, funded by the European Union and the German government, the NGO “Ukrainian WoodHouse Cluster” (in partnership with Board) invited Mike Richardson, Senior Project Manager of OpTecBB e.V., for the theme of the penultimate of 10 videos.

The expert will discuss the benefits of cooperation between a cluster and research institutions and how to more effectively organize innovation processes within it after receiving research results.

From the video, you will learn the advantages of such cooperation for enhancing the reputation of clusters, access to advanced knowledge, and opportunities for the commercialization of innovations. You will also separately examine the mechanisms for financing scientific research and development within clusters.

Despite the war, two-thirds of Ukrainian companies continue to operate, demonstrating steadfastness and adaptability. At the same time, the EU and the German government, through the EU4Business program, support Ukraine in its ambition to become a strong partner in Europe, serving as a pillar for companies by providing them with tools for recovery and further growth. This is also confirmed by the support for the UKRAINIAN CLUSTERS DEVELOPMENT GUIDE project, where Ukrainian SMEs receive knowledge and support for developing their own clusters.

The project is implemented within the framework of a grant competition for systemic support of small and medium-sized enterprises, commissioned by the international cooperation program EU4Business: Recovery, Competitiveness, and Internationalization of SMEs, co-funded by the European Union and the German government. The program aims to support Ukraine’s economic resilience, recovery, and growth, creating better conditions for the development of Ukrainian small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), as well as supporting innovation and exports.
