Intercluster interaction – what should be known about it?

Engaging Stakeholders and Building Strategic Partnerships

We invite you to watch the seventh video in our 10-part series, developed by the “Ukrainian WoodHouse Cluster” team in partnership with Board, within the EU4Business program, funded by the European Union and the German Government.

To successfully attract diverse stakeholders to a cluster, it is essential first to identify which categories of future partners might be interested in cooperation, their specific motivations, and the potential benefits for members of other communities.

The featured speaker, Oleh Demchuk, Chairman of the Board of the Ukrainian Cluster Alliance, shares his extensive experience in fostering collaboration within cluster frameworks.

Key technical topics covered by Mr. Demchuk:

  • Potential Partner Identification: Mapping the ecosystem to find the right strategic allies.
  • Value Propositions: Defining specific benefits for different participants to ensure long-term commitment.
  • Motivation Strategies: Practical methods to encourage high-level engagement from various sectors.
  • The Triple Helix Model in Action: Concrete examples of building relationships between business, academia, and government bodies based on successful Ukrainian clusters.

The EU4Business program facilitates vital connections between European and Ukrainian companies, creating mutually beneficial opportunities.

Background Information:

This project is implemented under the grant competition for systemic SME support within the international cooperation program “EU4Business: Recovery, Competitiveness, and Internationalization of SMEs,”co-funded by the European Union and the German Government.

The EU4Business program is strategically designed to bolster Ukraine’s economic stability, recovery, and long-term expansion. By creating a more favorable environment for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs), it directly supports the technical implementation of innovations and the scaling of exports.
