January is the time when the rules of the game for the next 12 months are formed. At Board, it was marked by the finalization of plans and the strengthening of partnerships.
For us, the start of the year is an opportunity to align priorities and continue moving toward our goals with renewed energy. We exchanged experiences, analyzed management cases, and sought solutions for the challenges facing businesses today.
2,137 business inquiries resolved in January and 320 business events held.
Board Poltava Hosted an Evening Board with Illia Kabachynskyi on “Why you need to tell your story in the media and how to do it.” Participants worked through their own communication cases, while discussing common public space mistakes to rethink their personal brand strategies.
Board Kharkiv Held 12 events in January. The highlight was Board Cinemalogy — a charity screening of the Board-produced film 10 Years Like Hell. This deep story about illusions and painful realizations combined meaningful discussion with action: all proceeds went to support children from low-income families, displaced children, and families affected by the war.
Board Valencia Key meetings included Board Fast Networking, an Evening Board featuring the Honorary Consul of Ukraine in Valencia, and a Board FuckUp Battle. Special attention was given to the Evening Skills with Roman Liakhon “Rapport: How to quickly find a common language with anyone,” focused on practical communication tools.
New Opening: A new cozy Hub in Valencia was launched for intimate formats like Friendly Board and Board Cinema.
Board Alicante January was all about networking and international synergy. Highlights included Board Hiking along the El Albir coast and a visit by partner Yevhen Kiriy to London for a joint Board Dinner to compare business climates in Spain and the UK. The month culminated in the launch of the Board Invest Club.
Board Vienna Hosted 9 events. The most impactful was the Special Board with Kyrylo Kaftanyk: “League of Masters. How to join the top 2% of companies with profits from $50,000/month.” Following the session, several members began direct collaboration with the speaker.
Board Rivne Major events included a Company Visit to Equador Coffee, a “Winter Welcome Evening” Board Party, and an Evening Board with community ambassador Serhiy Gemberg. The Winter Party was particularly significant for reviewing 2025 achievements and setting the focus for 2026 projects.
Board London A series of high-engagement meetings took place: Closed Board for deep-diving into business inquiries, a Special Board on UK citizenship and taxes, and a Board Dinner with Alicante partner Yevhen Kiriy. The branches agreed on a future joint Online Networking event.
Board Zaporizhzhia A busy month with 23 events! The standout was the Motivation Board with Artem Rakitin (“Raketa”), a serviceman of the GUR MO special unit “Artan.” He shared his journey from volunteering to active duty and his experience running a business. The program also included sports (pilates/step) and a masterclass in Petrykivka painting.
Board Prague The highlight was a Company Visit to TechTower (Plzeň), one of the most advanced tech parks in Czechia. Members explored the PilsLab 3D-printing workshop and a unique pool for testing aquatic robots, combining tech expertise with high-quality networking.
Board Barcelona Held a Board Workshop with Oleksiy Leshchynskyi on “Financial Freedom Strategies: What to live on during retirement?”. The discussion focused on the difference between financial security and true freedom.
Board Zhytomyr Key events included a Board Breakfast on protection from wiretapping and searches, MEN’S Board, and a Board Workshop with Dmytro Epik on the “Leader’s Map: Six Windows of Interaction.”
Board Zakarpattia Launched a new format: “Mutual Mentorship.” Other events included a Perfume Evening, a Board Workshop on Crisis Communications (jointly with the IT Cluster Transcarpathia), and introductory meetings in Uzhhorod and Mukachevo.
Board Khmelnytskyi hosted a Board Workshop with Vladyslav Radetskyi on “Owner’s Energy — Effective Use.” The event helped participants identify their own energy scenarios in business, understand the sources of resource leaks, and gain practical tools for transitioning from “firefighter mode” to strategist mode. It encouraged rethinking the owner’s role not just through metrics, but through the quality of their presence within business processes.
Board Volyn. In January, 17 events took place, combining business education, networking, and community development. Key highlights included Morning Runs with Board, Closed Board Volyn, a Mastermind with Oleksiy Makaryuk, breakfasts with participants, Women’s Board SPA Relax, a lunch with Taras Bachynskyi, a Board Party at Daryna Danylyuk’s, and a workshop with Oleksandr Ivanov.
Board Ivano-Frankivsk Conducted 16 meetings. The team joined Board Connect in Ternopil and visited Kolomyia for an Evening Board on AI implementation. They also launched the Peer2Peer format and organized the first Board Padel and Board Skiing trips.
Board Vinnytsia Featured Board Kids, a Board Breakfast with Valentyna Petrivska on exiting operational management (“Vector 2026: Owner vs. Operations”), and a Woman Board focused on “creative slowing down.”
Board Kyiv Hosted an Evening Board with mentor Veronika Ostapenko on “2026 Financial Strategy Formula.” The month wrapped up with a Big Board featuring the co-founders of MOVA Brewing Co., drawing nearly 90 attendees from Kyiv, Poltava, and Zaporizhzhia.
Board Ternopil A dynamic month with 7 events. The centerpiece was an Evening Board with partners from other cities, strengthening interregional networking. Topics ranged from real estate collaboration to “Psychology in Business.”
